I wasn’t sure how I was going to like a book about a female captain, but I really ended up loving Emma. The balance between Emma’s love of sailing and her femininity was perfect. A big round of applause to Molly for doing just a great job. I ended up not only liking Emma, but connecting with her.
Emma has a temper, which gets her into trouble more than once. This only made her seem more real. She struggled to control her anger, and failed many times. Yet, that doesn’t keep her from trying to make it right and going to God for help.
The romance, as with all of Molly’s books was so sweet. There were maybe one or two kisses but they were very sweet and not overly passionate. I just love how Molly does the romance in her stories.
I am kind of sad I have reached the end of this series, because it was so good. However, I felt the ending really was very satisfying, not only for the character of Emma, but some of the other characters of the series (like Sky and Will). I hope that someday, Molly write historical fiction again, because she does it so well.
I highly recommend this book to those who like books about faith, adventure, strong female characters, and sweet romance.

This is another book I really like and has great spiritual values and struggles to obey God's direction in ones life.
Great read! I love reading stories of days gone by. This story has keep my attention til the end with the hope that there is another sequel to the story !
A most interesting book, it really captured my attention. The Christian Faith is so real in this book, the Author has done very well in her writing.
I'm so sad the series is already over. The characters plot climax and conclusion were terrific. I wish the author would've done one more book about the lives of Ashley and Emma. But even so, I loved all four books. You must read them all!
What an amazing finish to an amazing series! I was almost sad that the series was over, but I'm looking forward to read the books again and again!
Finding Faith is very likely my favorite of all the Pirates & Faith books. I say very likely because it is so incredibly hard to choose. Emma is definitely my favorite character in Pirates & Faith, despite, or perhaps because of, her faults. Emma is headstrong and stubborn, she is sometimes childish, and her quick temper constantly lands her in trouble. And she's not interested in getting married. She has to apologize for her behavior quite a bit.
Finding Faith an exciting book filled with sailing adventures, pirate encounters, rescues, romance...there's never a dull moment. The first time I read it I stayed up until 100 in the morning because I was so absorbed in the story I completely lost track of time. I know I always mention how well developed Molly's characters are, but after reading a book with poor character development, I really notice whether they are well developed or not. And the characters in Finding Faith certainly are. They are so very themselves, and I love them. I really care about what happens to Molly's characters, which is more than I can say for some books. Skye and Will are in Finding Faith, so it was really nice to be able to see what has been going on with them in the years since A Captain's Heart. The climax is intense, emotional, and heartrending. I won't say anymore, because I don't want to give away the ending, but I do want to say, if you haven't already, read Pirates & Faith! It is an amazing series!
My one complaint Finding Faith is the last Pirates & Faith book. I really hated to say goodbye to all the characters. At least I can always read them all again!
